Mass transit offers a means of transportation with less greenhouse gas emissions that is easy to use and affordable. A large percentage of Norway's total emissions comes from the transportation sector. The mass transit system's around Norway are good, but they can be improved. These have already been introduced in many European cities, and can curb emissions by both limiting the daily driving people do and by increasing the use of public transportation. Cities like Stockholm, London and even Bergen have already implemented a congestion that has boosted revenue that can be spent on improving public transit, while simultaneously cutting greenhouse gas emissions.
